Shadowrun teaches us: "Geek the mage first!"

Girls are way harder than any quest.

That's right, you could've been that worlds greatest manslut, sleeping with every hottie imaginable, but no, you just had to commit to that bitchy-ass elf, now look at you, henpecked and crying in a bar, poor bastard *smh*

That girl is too nice for you!

He gave them fucking indoor plumbing! Buncha ungrateful little shitheads, the lot of them.

As expected.... You can never win an argument against a woman.

You can easily win the argument, it's the aftermath that's always a pain in the ass.

That way of thinking, "doesn't matter what it's aways the guy fault", is how we get where we are nowadays...

@mahtan
sigh

@gaigous
Well, nowadays you have to wrap your wish into a nice story to make them interested.
Oh and her being a high elf probably adds to her high and mighty personality, but then again the receptionists also represent the modern type of women. ?

Now waiting for some fem to shout "sexists" at us. ?

@monkey123 Pretty much, you gotta jingle those keys and make funny faces or their poor infant minds can't retain anything, nothing would surprise me with those nutjobs.

@Kllick Off-screen and censorship are the tried and true solutions for Japan when it comes to smut without smut.

I just find it sad that they don't understand how to deal with things properly. You can easily deal with arguments but not as long as you think its about "winning". A debate can be won and you can convince them or enlighten them but if the problem is emotional you need to ignore the conversation because the problem is the parties emotions. His response should have been to find out whats wrong and solve the issue and she should have just told him how she was feeling.

Communication is important people. You can't win a chess match while your playing Mahjong.

@Merilirem Well, he's in that situation because of his own choices, so I'd agree with you there, and the ideal relationship(as described by most I've asked) is one where their happiness is yours as well, but bear in mind that settling down is not for me, and neither is having kids, so If I was him from day one, there would be zero commitment.

MC didn't tell the elf girl, that he wanted to continue at some point. And he bought a house (or did he rent it?) so she might have gotten the wrong idea. But did the thought really not occur to her, that such a OP adventurer might to go on. He even told here, that this town isn't his "real home". It's been only a month and she just simple assumed he wanted to settle down. And then, when he decided as their group leader, it is time to move on, she snapped. I know, that she formed different plans for her own including MC/that she grow to have different wishes, but the evidence, that he grow her to become a mage and level her up is there. For what reason did he do that? To flirt around? And then everyone tells the MC to apologies. He was insensitive to her feelings, but she wasn't about his?
With the right arguments in your favour, "You can easily win the argument, it's the aftermath that's always a pain in the ass." With some women, this is sadly true. There are always people you can't talk with in most situations. And it's a pain to end up in a relationship with such a person, that starts to punish you, because you don't share their POV.
Back on the topic: She even does not listen to his orders as a group leader, because she has her own ideas about the well being of the group. (Seeing her friends die or hurt badly, is to hard on her, even if she can resurrect or heal them later.) I'm sorry, but this kind of stuck up behaviour is dangerous.
But to be fair, it looks like she doesn't want to be an adventurer at all. As I see it, she wants to settle down with her prince charming. And this is what she might have asked him in one and a half years, "We know (are dating) each other for nearly two years. We should be asking our selves, what we want with our lives. (I want you to quit as an adventurer in the near future and to marry asap. Disagree and I will punish you and threat to leave.)" This is over-the-top and a sexistic picture of women, but this fictional elf girl and the world around her seems to be just like that.

Yeah, imma be that guy.. The fact that the shadow of the planet is exactly on the same spot on both moons annoys me greatly, that wouldn't happen.

@Cooro Had one of the moon a smaller moon on the other hand orbiting it it would be seen in front of the moons as the source of the light casts a circular shadow. If on the other hand the planet cast the shadow on the first moon and the moon cast the shadow on the second moon at the same spot the position of the moon would be behind the first moon and thus not visible from the planet. Lastly as I pointed out if the planet cast both shadows the only possible spot it could be would be bottom right of the closer moon and top left on the more distant moon, and a single circular shadow (not seperate circles on both moons) as an object only casts a single shadow with one light source. If there solar system was a binary star system (orbiting two suns), however it would be possible but an astonomical improbability for everything to line up like that.

A moon is by definition orbiting another planetary body in a circular or elliptical orbit, for them to line up would only make sense in a artificial construct, as the world is according to the perception of the main character.. so in that regard it is possible but a clear mistake by the designer of the virtual world. Thus my annoyance with this and argument is actually useless I have to admit..
