@LaDeeDah She looks exactly like his past love and maybe she is a reincarnation of that fairy queen lady from the kingdom's founding myth.

waahhh this reminds me of nanatsu no taizai when meliodas and elizabeth were under the curse of everlasting life and perpetual reincarnation... these types of backstories are so sad. There are still some missing plot holes about their past and “death after 15 days” but I hope this won’t turn out as a tragedy. (Well, I am a sucker for tragedies, 🤷🏻‍♀️)

😥he saw the fairy died in front of him 😥 when will we hear the entire story from his point of view and from fairy’s point of view? What happened in the past?

Still wondering how come he’s still like a child by the way he reacts to the seamstress even though he’s lived for so long

One possibility for why he's like this is he was not always immortal. Suppose he was a normal seventeen year old kid when he originally met Helios and the fairy-queen. Something happened at that time to cause him to be immortal. When the fairy-queen died he grieved by shutting himself off in the castle since then. If he's been by himself (with the butler as the exception) then he's essentially frozen without anyone else to take social cues from.

Another possibility is that he's not originally human but became one because of magic or whatnot. In that case a similar thing could have happened. Without Helios or the fairy queen (or anyone else) he has no new guidance to become more human. Remember the butler said he was originally intimidated by his lord so he probably wasn't openly freindly with him. When the butler's wife died in childbirth that probably put him in depression for years. That would have been like a confirmation to Everhart on what love is supposed to be like given his own experience.

In both of those cases everything he experiences now is new to him so he acts that way.
