Re-read the first chapter where she blackmails MC and then read the previous one where sexually harasses a friend.

She is a nutcase who has serious mental issues regarding understanding basic social interactions, MC has his flaws as well, but honestly the biggest problem is the author for creating someone who can be abusive towards the people who should be her friends, he shouldn't have to spell it out for her and even if he did I am not sure if she would understand it.

I checked this out of curiosity when I shouldn't have, I was intrigued by the time travel aspect, but 55 chapters in, she seems just as a bad person as before.

I think it's not the MC but Takamine who's dense. He's aware of his feelings and that he doesn't match up to her standards. Standards she has repeatedly beaten into him. Takamine is dense as seen with the recent Eri chapter about why MC is not moving things along.
