Yes, this chapter was absolutely heartbreaking to read, but tbh it's still better than the worst-case scenario, which would have been him learning about the punishment game from the mean girls publicly embarrassing him. I just feel so bad for everyone in this situation. But, given this is the dramatic climax, I can definitely see a light at the end of this tunnel because now everything is out in the open. As far as I can tell, all 3 of them now know the whole truth about the initial situation (that she was bullied and forced to play this punishment game), so at the very least they seem to all recognize she was not doing this with malicious intent, but they all have very different reactions to this information. It seems like the only thing that isn't out in the open right now is the fact that she's genuinely in love with him. I think Bizen can tell her feelings were somewhat sincere, but she never really got a chance to say how she felt.
