I've liked your work so far, but are y'all pulling chapters off of mangadex?
Can't say for certain, but...
Probably they're not...

If You check the "Support" Forum, you'll see that there's an issue with the backend going on right now.
(Everything dependant on the API backend is glitching out - even if you can't see the chapter list, if you had a working Link to one, it seems to still work - but no auto-advance chapters either)

Staff already replied - they're looking into (fixing) it.

Ah, I see. My bad for assuming, I'd just only noticed the problem looking at their feed page. Appreciate the info!

Hey.

You wanna explain yourself what the fuck is this?

Are you seriously paywalling content that you did not own?

pretty a group doing this is against manga dex rules, besides it's also a good way to get the publisher to go after you

Yup. It's on the site rules on content restrictions.

1.5 Chapters from groups linking to websites which adopt excessive profiteering techniques are not allowed. Examples include, but are not limited to: adblock-blockers, hidden redirects, clickjackers, pop-ups and pop-unders.

I'm not gonna defend this practice but 99% of for-profit scanlation groups (including purely MTL ones) have been doing the paywalled "early chapters" thing for like a year now.

It used to be that only the most scummiest of obscure small groups that do this but after Vortex (?) everyone suddenly normalized it. (I remember Reaper trying it in their unusable website era and getting backlash). Complaining about it now after it became the new normal is too late imo.

Logo spamming even more than utoon/ManhwaFreak.
While the monochrome logo is appreciated, the quantity is not.
I can understand one or two a chapter but more than is just annoying.

Most people will dislike it.
Hey, thanks! Sorry for the issues. We have decided to reduce the number of watermarks. Hopefully, things will be okay going forward.

Oh its much worse and scummier now. At the very least most scanlations used to release the chapters eventually after a few weeks

Now its just permalocked till they can be fucked updating a manga they pick up. This usually means 90% of the stuff is permanently locked and/or abandoned becausetheh grab new shit left and right translate a few chapters then abandon when the click through plummets.

And this is on top of all the cash they get from the vomit of ads/dodgy redirects on the page

So that's why this month they worked on 24 different manga. I was like "this many!?"

He is talking about all the scans overall. We don’t abandon any series we pick. Honestly, there are regular updates from us for all the series whenever a chapter is released. do let me know if you feel any series we just left out
