Personally, while I like this development, I personally think that the ideal outcome would be a polyamorous relationship between Asumi, Nanao and Mai. Perhaps Asumi can start by bringing Nanao along on some of her brothelly adventures and the two of them double-team Mai. If that isn't possible then like you I much prefer Nanao as she's fucking sincere and totally adorable.

Some commenters have mentioned that Nanao has permanently friend zoned herself. I really disagree with that. It's clear that Asumi is sexually attracted to Nanao and has some feelings of affection for her regardless of the complication that reconnecting with Mai presents to her current relationship with Nanao. I happen to think that at the very least, Nanao is definitely in the running to win Asumi's mind and love.

Oh, yeah. One final point. Asumi did rather enthusiastically decide to have sex with Nanao, so at the very least, there is definitely a foundation for them to build a lasting romantic relationship. Both girls are generally friendly, they share common interests and they find each other sexually attractive. Mai is already on the back foot here, regardless of how Asumi's desire to still reconnect with Mai and sort out her feelings about her.

I just enjoy this manga so much! The ecchi is so tastefully done, even that hentai chapter was amazing for all right reasons. But the story and the characters have their genuinely sweet moments too, just like in this chapter. Somehow the author has managed to avoid so many common problems that plague most stories with the erotica tag.

What a great development fro m Nanao, started as a tad narrow-minded average Japanese and the yurification progress ended in a big success. I know where this is going, the author put Nanao out of the running to be Asumi’s girlfriend, by having her to be okay with being fwb to make way for Mai. If she doesn’t have any slightest regret in the next few chapters then I’d be really disappointed.

Winner by knockout after five rounds - Nanao-chan! As expected, poor Asumi-chan never stood a chance against this lovable vixen. Also as expected Asumi was quite smitten, but I guess we'll see if Nanao not letting her speak up first messed up her chances (at least for the immediate future). Clearly Asumi was ready to consider something more (who can blame her...), but even so will likely agree to FWB to keep looking for Mai.

I hope the mangaka's editor reminds them about the childhood friend main plot soon lmfao, we are so far off the rails we have actually changed from train to truck...
