It’s actually the opposite. Serina stayed on that job in case Asumi changed her mind about dating her. Now that she has a way to find Asumi on her own, she doesn’t need that job anymore. Honestly, about damn time she switched tactics.
Pretty much this. Serena was going to quit, tasted the god-tier bottom Asumi, then contined on but set her available hours to pretty much light a bonfire signalling for Asumi to book her again.

I didn't put two-and-two together, but now that you mentioned it, Serena can now see Asumi whenever she wants at her job that pays the (brothel) bills. So sticking on as an escort is not necessary any more.

A question for those that pay attention to details: how many girls that Asumi has topped have leglocked her? My memory might be failing me but i dont remember any girl doing that

Btw i also think leglocking someone means youre down bad fr or theyre too god in bed so i dont think its a coincidence we got that from Serina and the her dropping out of the job

Serina deciding to make a bold move to claim the girl she likes. No need to play it slowly, although you'll have to accept Asumi's sex drive cannot be met by a single woman and she needs a harem. On another note, her topping is getting good and no hesitation when offered boobs.

i remember picking up the first 2 volumes in japan, now this has become one of my favourites.
Asumi-chan is almost as much a womanizer as Kuroko from Murcielago.
that's not bad at all.

Wholesome chapter and glad we saw the end of Serina's arc, never thought that the brothel girls' stories could be explored.. would love to see how the others end up!

At this point, I’m genuinely questioning what the story is even trying to be.

What started as a search for Mai has completely lost its meaning. Instead of any real progression, every chapter feels like a recycled formula with no direction or purpose.

The constant reliance on provocative scenes isn’t adding depth — it’s replacing it. When every chapter leans on the same kind of content, it stops feeling like storytelling and starts feeling like filler designed to keep attention for the wrong reasons.

Asumi, as a protagonist, has become increasingly difficult to take seriously. There’s no sense of urgency, no emotional focus, and very little self-awareness. It’s hard to believe she’s searching for someone important when her actions suggest otherwise.

Right now, the series doesn’t feel bold or mature — it feels empty. The potential was there, but it’s being buried under repetition and a lack of meaningful development.
