Eh, this instance is still beliaveable thought, if she is in despair and then suddenly you met a "goddess" that heal fully from something that normally hard / impossible she kinda cope with the trauma by worship her new master / goddess. And her task is only domestic task, something that is peacefull

If this is slave that is not combat trained and injured badly from monster and should have trauma from it, but then come master that heal the slave and suddenly he/she have no problem with monster. Then i agree with you.
