I had the impression that "Warewolf" is an old board game from 90's though. the first time I've played one is around 2017.

FYI this game in a nutshell is that you who was given a role as 'villager' need to find the player(s) who was given the role of the killer or 'warewolf' before they killed all the 'villager' per round

FYI this game in a nutshell is that you who was given a role as 'villager' need to find the player(s) who was given the role of the killer or 'warewolf' before they killed all the 'villager' per round

calling it a "board game" is a bit misleading, since there's no board and you don't even need the identity cards if you have a narrator. It's just a party game. When we played it growing up it was called Mafia, but it works the exact same way.
