Time for my usual Chapter review
Not having a dick, so those that mean Melon has no sexual desire to reproduce? Some say the very definition of being an organism is desire to reproduce, since if you don’t reproduce, your bloodline dies. So not having any sexual desire really makes Melon a freak of nature.
Paru really sucks with the Sloth things. Make less sense, since it would make it harder for sloth to have intimacy if it takes them more time…
Damn, Legoshi really got a tattoo that says July 5th… why can’t Tattoo be Haru / Louis / Leano / Gosha / Tem / Gouhin…, something that would have been meaningful to him...
Wait, Legoshi never went to the beach with 701?! I thought for sure Jack would have suggested that in the 5 years they lived together, especially since they noted all Canidae love water. Does that mean the first time Legoshi went to the beach was to bury bodies [chapter 66]
On note of Legoshi becoming an optimistic and enjoying life, this reminds me of chapter 9, where Haru Seduction had him wag his tail for the first time in a while. Since that Incident only happened with Tem’s death, Tem’s death made Legoshi become an optimist.
So confirmed melon parents is Leopard Mother and Gazelle Father, which means my earlier prediction of that is correct. While this is only 50% choice, I thought this would be the case since Mother would eat the Father, yet still have child. Of which Melon would grow up without both parents.
While Legoshi should have thought this was a trap, and called Yafya as back-up, it wasn’t as bad as 129. Here Legoshi was just in-experienced / naive. Actually, based of 139, Legoshi said it better he didn’t find Melon yet, that also made Legoshi didn’t think of the possibility of an encounter. Also, he doesn’t know that Meron would be able to sense him [since to his knowledge, only canine have good smell]
I’m not sure how I feel about Legoshi losing part of his ear… I hope it heals somewhat, but it is not likely to since it is a hole. I don’t like the look, but at least it has a better story then the bullet wound.
Damn, so it confirmed that Hybrid boost sense more than a peak animal. When they said so in 131, I still did not believe in the possibility that Melon has better sense of smell then a Canidae… Though since Legoshi is a hybrid too, I wonder if his sense can be boosted as well, maybe dormant Komodo dragon Genes?
If Melon is confirmation that “Evil” does exist to Legoshi, what did he think of the Dead Shishigumi Boss. Legoshi didn’t kill DSB, so that was unknown if Legoshi left him alive on purpose, or lack the known of how to kill using Bite. If Legoshi didn’t think of Shishigumi boss as evil, then that means Legoshi miss the carotid artery on purpose…
In that sense, what will happen when Legoshi truly fights Melon?... All previous fight never had killing for the sake of killing…
Huh, Free saying last winter [74-76] means he realize that “white fox” was Legoshi…
I hope Legoshi paid attention to Agata words there, which implies they still miss Louis
So I see 2 hopes for Legoshi.
Zaguan saves his husband. Zaguan appearing in 108 is a very funny coincidence and may have been stalking Legoshi, and may still be.
Legoshi mentions how he is friends with Louis, so Free changes his mind. Not likely, but would explain why chapter didn’t end with Legoshi falling, and just the step before.

With all the wounds that Legosi keeps getting I think about Houseki no Kuni. Which is funny since Orange is doing the anime.

A necessary step for Legosi in realizing that he can't save everyone and just because he found someone "similar" to him that is a hybrid doesn't mean they're anything alike. Legosi is a corner boy but he's honestly not very smart and the whole manga he has always had to get hurt making dumb decisions to learn anything. So this is 100% in line with his character
