I’ll start with saying I read both versions, and like to do so to bet a better understand. That said, I do have respect for HCS for their work
Time for my usual Chapter review
Gosha seem to exaggerate about his Venom, since I’m sure his Neighbor knows about the risk of living near him. At the same time, there has to be a reason why he is worried. Maybe something that switch his path from Mercenary to Beastars?
Gosha working on a construction worker make sense, I actually imagine him doing physical labor instead of being an office worker. He does have muscles.
What is sand/dust bathig
Damn, if Gosha was really worried about Legoshi, he should have spent more time with him. Such as waited with Yayfa, or gone to Legoshi’s home. Legoshi didn’t know about Gosha waiting for him, but Yayfa did. Could have had Yayfa call Gosha when Legoshi came back.
I wonder what is Gosha’s reaction to BAM itself, did he have any Carnivore issues?

Damn, Gosha finally confirmed he was a mercenary. We didn’t exactly have confirmation before. Ch 85 was rumor Legoshi heard when he was 12, and that was Gosha at age 17. Age 17 Gosha was Gosha working with Yayfa being Beastars. Yayfa didn’t know Gosha’s past.
I wonder what reasoning came first: Leano, aflection, or bodyguard mode
Nice to see Shishigumi patched up Legoshi’s ear
Note, saying blood of XXX, that doesn’t exactly mean blood itself, but can mean to kill the children. It mostly a saying.

I’m not worried for Gosha, Gosha kinda OP for these bats.
If they planned for Gosha that a different story.
Note of Kopi Luwak, see Kaguya I want to be confessed chapter 13. That poop thing has been used in another series before.
And as we have seen with Melon, Tougher doesn’t always mean better battle strength, but more trickely to fight.
I like the intro of this new group. Make thing less black and white.
Also, when Legoshi does stop this, it more impactful. solving 1 group is common. Solving war between group, that Beastars potential right there since will impact society.

When i first learned about his grandfather I looked into how venemous komodos are. their venom isn't all that powerful. It lowers blood pressure, and 'expedites blood loss'. Its the komodo that does the actual killing. The venom just weakens.
Actually, you would think that in the world of Beastars they would utilize animal venoms as medicine. Lowering blood pressure, making blood clots flow freely... These sound like excellent benefits.

@kanzakill we all know they're a little bit racist (albeit subtler than most), but I don't see how its related to the chapter or the manga so far. Maybe the author said something recently, no?
