Well, do you really need to die on my birthday like that? But at least I'm glad that you did the "unprofitable thing" to Louis before you meet your ends.

i was kind of confused by louis' internal monologue in the discord's translation of this chapter but it makes a lot more sense here

This death maybe wasn't the emotional gut wrench that most deaths in media are, but God it still stung. The last thing they did was argue, and before they had the chance to remedy things, he was gone. It's a harsh part of living and dying.

Someone explain why the fuck CEO positions are hereditary here?

I'm sorry is this the 21st century or are we back in motherfuckin Middle Age Feudalism?
Does the Horns Conglomerate useAgnatic Primogeniture succession rules?
Or is this just a Japanese thing?

Fuck. This is one of the saddest chapters so far for me.. I really wasn't expecting Oguma to hug Louis like that :'(. That boy probably never got a hug from his father before then, now that I think about it.

:/ I hopped they would work through their somewhat awkward relationship.

@SotiCoto @irish42 Specifically, the situation here is probably a parallel to a Zaibatsu which is for some reason still a big thing in manga despite the system shifting more towards the Keiretsu, which aren't quite as influential as they used to be but are still on the board. An example I can think of offhand is Kaguya-sama, they very specifically called her family's business in that manga a Zaibatsu I think, despite the modern setting.

Edited to fix a link and cite another manga.

Noooo Daddy Deer died too soon. :[ I was looking forward to seeing his reaction to Louis's carnivore fetish.
