Due to Volume 1 releasing on 11/10, it’s going to be a long while before we release the full version of chapter 10. 10’s second half is scheduled to release on 11/21/25.

It’s actually a Jiāngshī or a Chinese Hopping Vampire (like Lei-Lei or Hsien-Ko from Vampire/Darkstalkers).

But, I do agree it was a really good fanservice illustration! Elsie has become one of my favorite characters. Behemoth is still number one, she’s too cute.

I honestly can’t blame them because no one expected it to happen.

I also liked her swimsuit, and the way she unnecessarily applied sunscreen to Behemoth’s tail. Unfortunately, the nun still hasn’t been officially named yet. I was hoping for her, and the “dude bro exorcists” to finally get name reveals during this arc.

I hope we don’t have to wait 20 years for their names to finally be revealed, like Gorousei…

The nun from Chapter 5 is Hóng Shé and Elsie’s supervisor, her face and name haven’t been revealed yet. She doesn’t appear in 8 and 9. Based on her comments, I don’t think she’d be friendly towards Behemoth.

The one that appears in 8 and 9, is another nun/exorcist that debuted in Chapter 1. Again, her name has yet to be revealed.

Not sure how I feel about her (and presumably other anomalies) being some kind of weird sci fi "world system" kind of deal instead of just manifested youkai/monsters, but eh. Though, I guess the ring's voice bubbles in a previous chap kinda hinted at it anyway. Still a good chap.
