What an unremarkable end for Rakshas. Pacing still feels really rushed. Like they're working from a handful of Miura's notes on how the arc was suppose to progress, and instead of filling the gaps themselves they just cut it short. Hopefully they have more to work with from here on.

It certainly feels that way - personally I can't shake the feeling that there are missing panels/pages. You know like when you sometimes read a chapter out of order and there's this weird feeling that something is off. I'm very grateful that they decided to continue Berserk so that we can all get the closure but the current pace feels off, they release too infrequently and every chapter feels like 2-3 normal chapters stuffed into one with no room to breathe.

Yeah, that's what he said he would do. Sticking to the script. I think it's a good thing. Also, he isn't young. Be careful what you wish for or he might die before this saga gets completed.

Honsetly I'm grateful we move at a fast pace and Mori isn't trying to fill the gaps with his own ideas. I do respect the team working on this as fast as they can but it still takes a lot of time so I prefer faster pacing instead of a 2 years fighting Rakshas.

If I'm remembering correctly that's exactly what Mori said he was gonna do. He was not gonna add anything and try to reach the conclusion Miura wanted with what he had.
Googling I got this:
"I will recall the details as much as possible and tell the story. Also, I will only write the episodes that Miura talked to me about. I will not flesh it out. I will not write episodes that I don’t remember clearly. I will only write the lines and stories that Miura described to me."

Even so all pages are very confusing to read, there's no rhythm or flow to anything.

Man, Guts has already resisted so freaking much, but Griffith's last appearance; stealing Caska, destroying Elfheim, and being intangible to hit... that breaks a man. On top of Caska not being able to face him. Both are suffering and have suffered so much.

Not even Judeau is getting a rest.

I think Schierke will contact Caska, and she will ask or encourage for Gut's, in a way that Schierke will try to get Gut out of the swamp of sadness with that message.

There are so many plot holes now.

• Why did the elfhelm magicians loose powers when the tree was destroyed and why do they suddenly have them again.
• Why did all elfs dissappear except Puck and Ivalera.
• Puck somehow forgets about Rickert and only now remembers about Guts.
• Schierke first travels to falconia (we see her entering the branches), then we see her and Guts together and now it seems like she is departing from the kushan empire.
• Falconia was always shown in the middle of land (midland), but now they suddenly have a harbour.
• Rakshas said previously that head is not necessarily where the mask is, but he dies that way.
• In the previous chapter it seems like Rakshas was trying to escape but now it seems like it was his plan to kill Guts.

I mean that's kinda to be expected from a cliff-notes approach to telling the remaining story that Mori remembers. The artistry of the craft of the storytelling is inherently limited with the creative direction Mori decided on.
