this is actually a pretty interesting theoryOh I can see it. Faggith gonna pull a Lelouch and make Guts take all the credits of defeating the God Hand to redeem himself for the massacre of his Band of The Hawk in the past.
The author collective released 3 chapters close to each other now. As soon as they come out, they pretty much get translated over night. So the creators picked up some speed. Let's see if it is with sacrifice of quality. But this chapter gives me hope that it was just as the one tweet said: they really struggled with the story line of Guts being reborn, and that hampered it more than the time needed to draw it.Are they accelerate the manga production, or it just until now people translate those chapters? I hope it is the first.
We have quite many chapter recently while few years ago it tooks whole year to get a new one.
Was an avatar she was using to manifest physically, similar to Griffith using Casca's child to do so.Didn't Guts kill the medusa lady?
Please understand they have to match late miura's pacing, they gonna take decade long break to rethink his notes and release special 12 page yearly chapter to remind people this still exists in a vortex of endless "undecided" studio that can't seem to produce anything of value while they do nothing for the rest of the yearThe author collective released 3 chapters close to each other now. I've given a couple of reads to this chapter and I think that the God Hand just planted the seed of their doom with the condescending comment that they gave him, even if Griffith ascended into one of the highest beings in existence, he's still not seem like an equal, and probably made an enemy that exits in the same plane where they can be hurt.Very interesting. I always thought the Godhand welcome what Griffith did to the world but it also makes sense for them to act like this, as other comments already explained.
They basically made him one of them and he left them shortly after.
I honestly wonder if the Godhand can even be "defeated" at all. Griffith yeah and we know Guts will do it but the rest? Or maybe thats not point of the story and my way of thinking is too shonen like.
No, Casca really was just protected thanks to Godo's home and smithy being a former home of elves. Griffith never felt any compulsion to protect Casca until his merger with Guts and Casca's child. And Griffith specifically couldn't play his hero role until he had incarnated back into the physical plane. It also explains, why Casca and Guts were able to survive so long as branded. It was less about them being hidden but griffith protecting them, in a twisted way. They serve a role in his "play". The question on my mind, is all this so that Griffith can strike one final devestating blow to Guts and strike him down as a "hero" taking down a "beast"? Or, is there a possibility that he wants to be struck down?
No, Slan manifesting through troll entrails is specifically not the same as Griffith physically incarnating into the physically plane. Slan manifesting through troll entrails could be pushed back into the deeper levels of the astral realm because her true self was still anchored in the deepest levels, when Femto/Griffith incarnated during the climax of the Conviction arc he brought his whole being from the astral depths into the physical realm, which is why his existence as the Falcon of Light is so extraordinary. Was an avatar she was using to manifest physically, similar to Griffith using Casca's child to do so.
That'd be her son, not Femto.Thank god Griffith shielded Casca from those guys. She almost got traumatized
Remember that Griffith was a good leader but he was never really a good person. He lost Guts and started the whole tragedy because he couldn't see Guts as a friend. Its always been about his dream. The more I see this perfect kingdom Griffith has created for himself, the more I question his final goal. He has enough power to make the entire world submit to him, yet he uses it to build an impossibly beautiful castle... on top of an even more beautiful lie. And, in this chapter, we even see the other members of the God Hand chastise him for it.
Until now, I was thinking there was some kind of devious plan to fool everyone else, while he was doing something demonic in the background... But it seems he is truly building his ideal kingdom by using demons as mere puppets. Strange, to say the least.
I took it for granted that Griffith was long dead. I think this is the first time we get a clue he's still there somewhere, and apparently he is still bitter.I think we are going to see Grifith miserable once again and 'hehs dreams' gonna go down the toilet. He doesn't seem super happy with all that is going on.
I think that's because he was born as slave of fate, an incarnated synthesis of human desire, something like the macabre divine interpretation of yielding an agent for human will. He never reasoned out on why he wanted this, he just felt its calling. The only human desire of Griffith the vessel himself was Guts. Alongside that, he had various human anguishes that perhaps are still unresolved even after ascension? Particularly, the man felt quite tender when sacrificing both his flesh and that of others. But it always struck me as odd that, despite being the equivalent of a semi-God to humans' standards, Griffith is still obsessed with the mundane and material vanity of being a king.
Huh?? "Ngefly"?Why casca looks like ngefly, the expression should be pain not like that
