The art style looks look a bit weird in this chapter. It's very off base from the previous ones.

Also, it kinda makes sense. The god hand, in the bit we had of them, always played as being "above it all".

I figured Griffith was a play on their part for their own means. But them complete demeaning it, rather than it being a ploy, does fit with their nebulous behaviour we have so far.

They did promisse Griffith he could have what he wanted, but I guess they didn't expect his behaviour to stick after the transformation.

Shame that the upload seems very shit, but it's funny to know that others in the godhand despise and ridicule Femto's little play.

The other godhands randomly appearing again after like decades just to shit on Griffith lmfao.

I dig the dynamic, it’s nice to have some characters that can do that to Griffith. He did basically leave their side so not like they ever were some besties. It’s certainly a completely new thing though, I don’t remember them ever implying being like that toward Griffith, but then again it’s literally the first time we see them since Falconia happened. It’s a good reminder that they’re fundamentally different from just being side bosses on the way to Griffith. They’re just too powerful to be handled easily, so I wonder what’s the plan here. While Griffith is the final boss of Guts, killing him ultimately doesn’t fix anything with the idea of evil still spawning a new godhand every few hundred years anyway, he might have changed the world but he’s still just a pawn of fate.

it’s interesting that despite how much the Godhands talk about predestinated fate and shit and how it trumps all, they can still be annoyed by his actions and find Femto pathetic, even though he’s their very god’s chosen one.

Also Sonia seemed particularly sassy in this chapter?

I find it interesting that the 4 of the Godhand were so happy to have their 5th member in Griffith back at the start, to now do an 180 and start dissing him.

Why are there 3 different art styles in one chapter?
The line weights are all over the place too.

Was this made by an AI or something???
You're aware not everything in a manga is drawn by one person right? Assistants exists. Backgrounds especially are typically different artists.

The art in this chapter looks clearly different, but not in an AI sort of way, but in a this chapter looks a rushed kind of way. I'm getting a Hunter X Hunter Togashi rushed to meet a deadline kind of vibes. I can't imagine this'll look the same in the tankobon release.

Sonia is such a fucking loser. Also I get why the God hand are clowning Griffith, dude is basically asking for all the power but refusing to be what he is. He still thinks he's Griffith and not Femto

Yeah, seems weird for them to criticise Griffith at this point.

Miura has the "benefit" of being dead and shielded from criticism by virtue of this no longer being his unadulterated work, but new Berserk has had some weird plot developments. I think that's been the popular sentiment, especially the further we got into post mortem Berserk.
I think what's happening might be the successors rushing the plot points. I feel a reveal like this and showing cracks in Griffith was supposed to be a very slow and gradual thing, instead of us cutting to him dealing with it so quickly.

I think the thing they're going to angle for here is to confirm something I already knew, but Griffith has lost a good deal of free will by becoming a God Hand. Well, we know the Berserk world is heavily deterministic, and we're gonna see the ramifications of that.

Very interesting. I always thought the Godhand welcome what Griffith did to the world but it also makes sense for them to act like this, as other comments already explained.
They basically made him one of them and he left them shortly after.

I honestly wonder if the Godhand can even be "defeated" at all. Griffith yeah and we know Guts will do it but the rest? Or maybe thats not point of the story and my way of thinking is too shonen like.

I just looked up some pages on X, guys whoever uploaded this did some weird AI upscaling and it totally messed up the art, the art I saw is in line with the style it has been recently. It looks like 3 different artists because of the terrible scan/ terrible upscale.
Wait for a different scan and translator, cause this is just busted in every way.

It is definitely upscaled and they (possibly a feature of whatever upscale model they used) tried to make it look like a scan instead of digital--imitating the look of an imperfect scanning process and the over-processed leveling of older scans, like how the pages looked when MangaStream was scanning Berserk. And they compressed the artwork horizontally, for whatever reason. The style of the actual artwork is a little inconsistent, but it's wildly exacerbated by whatever the fuck OP was trying to do here.

Griffith and Guts are so gonna shake hands and forgive each other at the end aren't they.

Lame.
I wouldn't go that far but I think the idea is that Griffith is still human despite his ascension as he is still trying to desperately create that dream he had as a young man.
