Okay, so like I'm reading the comments. Some of them make me anxious. XD The last pages of the chapter made me feel that it would be like that and I am not ready for that. XD I hope it won't be like that. Also, this is just an assumption of mine. I feel like the story comes from a diary or something. I don't know. Hahahahahaha

So was this dropped? It's actually a decent read and I'd be sad if it never gets updated again.

I'm going to post a very big WARNING here for readers.

This manga... be VERY wary. I honestly don't know how to write this spoiler (First time ever being hesitant with my words). Basically, long story short one of them gets into a heterosexual relationship (NTR apparently), Sexual Harassment, and Domestic Violence. All you have to do is go to the amazon page for volume 6. I have never seen reviews this bad for a "Yuri". Yikes. Usually for the most part it's always pretty lax. Anyways proceed with caution. That is all.

Hey I

I wanted to reply and make myself clear. I'm sorry if it seemed like I was saying to not translate this.

I personally don't care what people like/ draw, but I do like to give people (like me) who don't handle this stuff well a chance to know what they are getting into and bail if they want.

I've been reading Yuri since late 90's and have had so many times where I read something that just messed me up. So that's why I always spoil everything now for myself.

So, I hope you finish translating and to those who like this/ these types of stories I'm sure they will be very thankful to you!

Hope that clears everything and you understand I wasn't trying to target you at all.

Regards,

-Naru

Confirmed hetero NTR trash in volume 6. Now I see why the original TL dropped this pile of shit.
For anyone who looks into the comment and sees this, these two comments and spoilers aren't true and are very biased!

It's not NTR
because while one girl did marry a guy, they weren't lovers when that happened.

Also, the manga portrays a realistic
domestic violence situation
in volume 6, and that can turn some readers off.

Below is an Indepth spoiler (credit to @RamonaLynn99). If you are unsure if you should read this or not, read the spoiler and make your own decision:
The manga in question introduces a darker tone by deviating from its initial lighthearted atmosphere. In the 6th volume, the protagonist faces online attacks, leading to psychological distress and school absence. The latest development reveals that the protagonist's close friend, depicted on the cover, is seemingly experiencing domestic violence from a narcissistic senior. Notably, the protagonist also encounters harassment at work.

The upcoming 7th volume hints at the protagonist taking action to save the friend from the abusive situation. However, the release date being in January 2024 leaves readers anticipating the resolution while grappling with the suspense until then.

The manga's potential issues include the perceived difficulty in following the narrative's shift from a relaxed atmosphere to a more intense one. The introduction of a depressive storyline might be an attempt to generate impact in a climate where stories without significant twists struggle to gain attention. Additionally, the abrupt transformation of a resilient character into a victim of abuse raises questions about the authenticity of the plot. The friend's drastic change, seemingly influenced by a psychopathic antagonist, is deemed extreme, and the lack of intervention by her caring mother adds to the questionable nature of the story.

As for the resolution, there's speculation that the protagonist might turn to the internet for help, possibly leading to a revenge plot reminiscent of online forums like 2ch. However, considering the gravity of the issue, some readers find it challenging to believe that the problems can be resolved solely by the actions of teenagers.

In conclusion, the manga provides realistic and dramatic elements, but the extreme portrayal of domestic violence is criticized for being too intense, potentially causing readers' discomfort and strong reactions.

Will post this here as well since you're posting this nonsense here as well.

Let me clear some things up for you since you're clearly misconstruing everything I said.

First off, I said a WARNING. As in proceed with caution. Never did I say to not read this.

Secondly, I'm not biased I also clearly said I got this information from reviews of Japanese people who read the volume 6 on Amazon reviews. So no not biased, just relaying what I have read. That goes also with the NTR what was mentioned in SEVERAL reviews.

Third, the quote you said was made by the translator was not HIS quote, but that of a reviewer on amazon that I assume he edited.

I already quoted him and said why I posed this WARNING, elaborating that I was not targeting him or this manga but people who might want to avoid these issues.

Anything else?

No, a large amount of Amazon reviews using the term NTR indicates that it's heavy NTR in this tagged YURI manga. Go ahead and read them for yourself, almost every written reviewer is calling out the author for this shit show. Not a single written review above 3 stars.

yeah but your warning is too short, doesn't give all the fact and can be a big turn off for new readers, that's why I copied the other review by @RamonaLynn99 to give people more info.

Also, you both are seriously misunderstanding the use of NTR.
The reviewers in the Amazon page use it to mean "hetero NTR", meaning they reads the story expecting full on yuri, but got slapped in the face with a heterosexual relationship instead. Some reviews even called it queerbaiting, because literally no one expected the heterosexual relationship to happen.

It's not NTR in the actual use of the word (normal NTR means stealing another's lover, and that isn't true in this case because the two girls were never lovers in the first place).

Well, I am looking forward to see where the manga is going. I have a feeling that we will get a good ending. I have read others of Towa's manga and she is very talented

I will say this again here. Hetero relationship or not I have every intention of reading the rest of the series. I will also almost definitely translate more of it at some point. I have volumes 1-5 raw on my laptop so it's just a matter of feeling motivated enough to translate. Nothing I have seen regarding the 6th volume has made me not want to continue.
I want to see how things play out with satsuki. I wanna see (I'm assuming her) get out of the awful relationship. And most importantly I wanna see if there's a happy ending in store for the two of them
So I will absolutely be reading the rest of it. If anyone would like some yuri recs that either 1. Have yuri endings or 2. Will ruin your life then I'm more than willing to provide. I've read literal dozens if not over 100 yuri series.

No worries. I don't think anyone is telling me to quit it. I just want to reassure the people who are worried I might stop because of the spoilers

No, you are misunderstanding the broad use the NTR tag has had. NTR has been used for the stealing of potential love interest for over a decade. All you have to do is look at any hentai site that uses the tag and you will see thousands of results where potential love interests and crushes are stolen before the couple gets together. And I'm going to trust the Japanese readers who actually bought, read and took the time to review this PoS over anything you have to say.

You don't have to like the series but that doesn't make it a PoS. It's still a well written series even if it doesn't go the way people were expecting. I'm enjoying it despite those reviews.

Reading the spoilers, I didn't know that this light-hearted manga could turn out like that. I still want to read how this ends. 🥲
