Yeah but that declaration never really matches the “I HAVE to do this for him” subservient energy that Ness is soaked in. As he canonically can’t think of an alternative Future for himself. Yo’s vibe has always been “I WANT to see where this goes”. Even his backstory with his parents screams “I wanna think for myself” and tells us he’d never be a butler like Ness
