The kids are saying she’s old even when they can’t even drink yet (age 20 in Japan). I guess the analogy is like a 1st grader saying highschool students look mature (disclaimer: some outliers may do, but most don’t).

Anyway Seika is cute both inside and outside, IMO the most attractive character in the series.

Because in Japan, when women hits the age of 30 while still single (as in not getting married), they are seen as the 'failure of the society' (it's just a myth). Women do want to get married before hitting 30.
