i mean in his defense, the girl doesnt really seems to be attracted to the guy no? if i was an outsider and see how they behave with each other in public like that (Didnt wear the ring, avoiding him in the last chapter, rejected his gift, etc) i would probably make the same judgement ngl.

Yeah it's the misunderstanding part of the series. Her facial expressions are actually accepting of him but from his viewpoint which we see most often it appears otherwise. It would be intereting to see how others view her expressions during those moments to see if it as our MC interprets it or as the FMC means it. She also wears the ring but it's around her neck but nobody knows that.
