This chapter once again exemplifies how this manga is at once riddled with rom-com cliches, and yet feels real.
This is what being in love, in a relationship, at 14 feels like. And Yamada actually acts like a 14yo girl, which is rarest of all.

Also, it's so nice to see a loving family that doesn't come across as cloyingly saccharine or overdramatic.
