I get the reasons why the girl wont tell anyone about raping, I also quite often see the news about teacher/relative blackmailing a girl for sexual harassement. They think telling it to the parents/police will make it worse

But the boy action, is beyond me..

I'm sorry to say but middle school boys are not that honorable. They will snitch in an instance. He made his life harder for no reason.

This always kind of culturally confused me.

Because the random NPCs would probably act that way even if they just straight up said what the teacher was and why he died since "murderer" is a major stigma regardless of context.

It's just funny what a difference the reaction would be in the west. Boy would be celebrated as a folk hero, all his legal stuff crowdfunded and then some. The teacher's wife would probably be the one getting the bad treatment.
