• Mahiru and Miya were once both in the nurse's office at the same time.

^ I would say this is the best explanation, but you can also go to ch.20 and re-read it, is pretty much the chapter where Sorapoyo falls in love with Myaa/Miya, but in ch.28 we have Mahiru getting sick and acting like Miya while also focusing on Sorapoyo, so in ch.30 we have Mahiru remembering that the time she got sick (she also was sick in ch.20) she treated someone bad and if we add that Miya doesn't remember saying pretty much the words that made Sorapoyo fell in love... the conclusion Prez got, is that the actual person that absolved Sorapoyo was Mahiru!!


and in this case, the relationship could work, because remembering that chapter + ch.28, mahiru really cares for Sorapoyo and the reason he fell in love with Miya is actually because of Mahiru, only one problem... Sorapoyo is falling for the Prez!!

I don't really see the "sorapoyo is falling for prez". I mean not directly said. I'm pretty sure he still have a feeling towards miya. Oraybe you can tell me where sora actually fall for pelrez?

when he talks about the wish of his brother to why he is still there in the clubroom ... "I wish the person I like (sorapoyo) can stay with the people he likes forever", he blushes there and says to keep it a secret (page 19-20 of this chapter), and we already know for how he is, if he would say liking as a friend he would just say so... she he's falling for the prez, and as you say he probably still likes Miya, he's starting the crossroad of his romance.

I'm still not completely buying it, but this does leave room for more ambiguity than I initially assumed.

Edit: I am completely on board with the big sister route. This just seems like an clunky opening that wasn't needed.
