Meida is a robot programmed for household chores and she was manufactured by ABC Robot Corporation, which is a different company than the one who made the Minas.

To the best of my knowledge, Meida is the only robot seen in this series who is from ABC Robot Corporation but it occurred to me that there's a small chance that (spoilers for chapter 33 and beyond) Erisu might also have been manufactured by the same company. We know that Erisu wasn't manufactured by the same company as Mina but, as far as I can remember, as of Chapter 40, the most recent chapter that I've read in English, the manga never specified which company made her. I'd love to see Meida appear again to meet another robot who may be her "sister", even if Erisu is the type of robot who was made to be a companion to humans, in her case as a daughter, and not to be a maid like Meida.

The saddest part of all of this is that I'm incredibly alone and lonely yet I do not have the option of filling that void with a loving robot wife...these characters are so lucky

it would be nice if this was a concept where the robot discovers they dont love their master. the way this is going it might be unlikely, the only emotions robots can truly express is fulfillment and dissatisfaction so they dont care as long as they are treated kindly and can do their jobs as efficiently as possible. if i wrote this, id make a concept that the boy doesn’t actually love her but uses her as an asset to project his insecurities on to. like the mc was curious about mina and hates when she talks down about herself and doesn’t like being ashamed of her. how can you love someone you’re ashamed of?
