Nothing wrong with generic, I'm enjoying the horndogs in the forum screaming into the either pretty much saying, "FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!" as they are inevitably blue balled because this is not an hentai series were sex isn't the first thing to be thought of doing, instead of having the logical thinking to take things at a more reasonable pace. Honestly if they are that starved for sex scenes go look up hentai/porn so the rest of us can enjoy the developing holsemness of our generic romance plots with mild inhibitions to sexual content.
I mean I can understand where they're coming from, the author wrote it like a typical opening to exactly that. Nothing about their situation is normal, or logical; it's hentai plot logic thinly veiled as a light ecchi romance. They're "married", and for all intents and purposes, they're two teenagers sleeping in the same bed, the girl is delusional and thinks she's in love. All by chapter 3.
With a situation like that, they just want to see it acknowledged. A fade to black and implication works more than you'd think. Not everything has to be graphic sex. That and people are tired of spineless main characters that let themselves get swept around by the plot.
But as you've said, this isn't a hentai. You and I both know that this is going to drag on like this for a while, and we'll keep tuning in to see where things go, despite knowing full well they'll both be in the same place 50 chapters from now.
I can't wait for the inevitable love triangle and an entire volume of drama off of a simple misunderstanding.
