Glad this was continued~
It was long overdue
In the WN, it is mentioned that Shin was overflowing with the desire to protect/ love the game FMC eventhough he only took one look at her. In order to break this "Curse" (Game rule) he did the most boldest thing ever right after meeting with Serea. With Bell and Shurigan as witness, Shin and Serea conducted a marriage ceremony that very night and with that Shin is freed from the "Curse" and he will no longer feel anything when he see's the game FMC

The WN is long finished already and there are "What If" chapters right after the main story ended (around 80+). Overall a very good read but sadly translation has stopped for a long time already

Doing a good job depicting Shin as mature in some capacity but still young and immature in others. Forcing the observation of the game heroine was particularly impetuous and insensitive especially since there were no good outcomes from this. Serea and him haven't been together that long so even if Shin showed no reaction on seeing the game heroine it wouldn't ease her worries. In Serea's mind right now Shin betraying her and falling for the other girl is immutable and she's expressed this several times. An older person may have realized this beforehand but the immature Shin certainly wouldn't.

Shin not being able to sit by the night after hurting Serea is a good response though to indicate he really does care about her. Kudos on the author for not going for the total bait cliff hanger of ending the chapter when Shin arrived back at the castle.

Aah, now this is interesting. This is why I prefer reading villainess from others perspective than the fl perspective. It's fresh and also make you able to understand how weird the fl is, or how much the heroine affect them.

From the way the heroine is drawn, somehow I feel like she'll be dual protag/not really the antagonist (yknow how in villainess story, it's basically their role reversed since the villainess become the good guy and the heroine the opposite?). Seems like she's focused on making her life better (if she's reincarnated) than only hoping to get some boys when the game story begin.

Also, I know it's sad, but I love that the story choose to make the prince have feeling to the heroine, since it's makes the villainess worry more understandable rather than that's only in the villainess mind (I love Bertia, but there's 0 tension between the future she thought will happen vs the reality because the prince is only madly in love with her with 0 attraction the the alleged heroine)

Can I know at least whether the heroine will be an obstacle/annoying one or she'll end up becoming friend/with someone else?

Contain some spoilers for future arc
Once the school arc begins, the heroine will join the academy 1 year early (heroine suppose to join on Year 2). She attempted to woo our dear prince plenty of times, but since the prince is already free from the "Curse" all attempt was pointless. There is a running gag between Prince and Heroine in that each time they meet, Shin will purposely say her name wrong.
.
The Target that Heroine manage to woo
First one is Powell, Eldest son of the Royal Guard Captain and the Typical "Knight" capture target
TLDR for him is, he is an muscle brained idiot. He believes everything the Heroine says and believe the Prince and Serea is the one behind Heroine's bullying. The first idiot of the "Harem"
.
Second is Freed, the cool type who seldom speak
While he trust the Heroine very much early on, later in the story he starts to not see the Heroine as a romantic interest since Heroine keeps juggling between "More than Friends but Less than Lovers" for relationship.
.
Third is Picard, the flamboyant ladies man
Funnily enough, the only reason he is with Heroine is because she was bullied, so as a gentleman he steps in to aid her. But starting on the 2nd year, Heroine was already adjusting to the school life and he starts to distance from Heroine since she no longer need his help. He is the person that always report to the Prince and Serea for assistance if Heroine is bullied
.
The final is Ren, the Prince younger brother (only in 3rd year and graduation arc)
According to Prince, Ren grows up a bit spoiled and believe and Hierarchy superiority. Like Idiot no 1, he believes the Heroine 100% without question and attempted to force Prince to step down as crown prince. The reason he hates Prince is because he has "Sister Complex" and he hated that Sarin (Their eldest sister) and Serea was closer to the prince (Don't know how accurate the MTL, but Ren secretly stole Serea's clothing for...stuff?)

Thanks for translation. The series itself is pretty generic so far and from the spoilers I have read it doesent look like it will go out of its way to do unique stuff. But since I'm a sucker for reincarnation isekai stuff I will happily keep reading it. <3

The guard said he is cheap. . So maybe instead of frugal, cheap is better?

Anyway, having your feeling suddenly flipped like that, i would definitely felt guilty af too.

So wait, she's no good? 😭
