I assume the robot has a sort of "fairness" function built in. Since the CEO outright said it won't fight stronger than a human, maybe it has sensors built in that detect how much of a beating it takes until it shuts down. After all the goal of this particular PR stunt seems to be to have a robot functioning within the context of martial arts, and having a machine with no limits steamroll everyone would be a bummer.
