I'm glad that even the translators themselves said that a mace head attached to a chain is a flail, not a morning star. A morning star is actually just a spiked club or mace.

Some RPG's and fantasy stories get this wrong, so the misnomer of calling a flail a "morning star" has gotten pretty widespread. It's important to know what's really what though.

I doubt Gregorius Yamada would've gotten this wrong, but to be fair, he's a history nut.
