I really think someone translated this to the point where MC met that girl.
The story goes by:

He quit the guild there where troubles after that, he travels can't remember the reason
he met the girl and his curse lifted or something can't really remember though its been 3 months since I read this forgot where i read it anyway.

He should've quit they are right, but they should of done it another way, talking to him in private and explaining why they would revoke his license.

He was getting closer to death each time he used his skills, it was basically suicide.
