Bro please don't let the mom die... she might've grown up to be twisted but she's still his mother right? She still loves him right? Albeit in her own twisted way? She doesn't deserve this man, especially not after that flashback fleshing out her character. Author made me grow attached to the mom by showing us her innocent, wholesome sides then does this shit to us...

Honestly, this would be much better without this "crazy mother" plotline. With normal mother it was kinda realistic and desperate family situation for MC, that readers can somehow relate and feel sorry for mother and MC who can't leave her. But turned out it's just another yandere mother, sigh...
