Im surprised "D" ranks would even be allowed in the hospital too

'daughter' surprised they'd even have kids unless they were a higher rank before b/c even if said kid is higher i can imagine them being discriminated against for having a 'low rank' parent

Uh oh... the government has set up an unstoppable domino of hospital staff arrests...

"I'd rather help the critical D patient than the B patient!" -> gets arrested -> "I can't help the B patient anymore because you arrested my anaesthetics nurse!" -> gets arrested -> "I can't keep the hospital open because you took all the doctors!" -> gets arrested, hospital closes down and passes its remaining patients to nearby hospital, process starts over...

Im thinking that the rank up thing is a bait for people like them, they could already have guessed their goal was to kill lowell and the government would most likely monitor those who take the rank up and end up at A
