Since chapter 1, I've been hoping that he won't get his scars magically cured just because that always happens and I want to see a love full of acceptance and that someone doesn't need to be perfect to be happily married but now I hope he does. It's not for esthetics but because his scars hurt and maybe his trauma would lessen if he doesn't see the traces on his skin on a daily basis

So the Max/Brill is pretty much confirmed at this point. So that's a point for some subtle hinting from earlier. We've also got confirmation of some crossdressing by Roxant. Which has me wondering what the deal is why Brill took leadership instead of Roxant. Further the series has a habit of constantly making references to how pretty Brill is. Starting to wonder if maybe Brill is a woman dressing as a man(obviously I don't have a horse in the race just a bit of curiosity that's arisen for me, not a preference).
