The only reason they could have to try and force others out of marriage with him is so they'd have a chance to snatch him away from the others and kick all the others he loves that love him out of their life. They couldn't accept not having Rakuto like them alone, and wanted everyone else out of the way - even the ones who accepted Rakuto's proposal because they didn't want to leave themselves out of his love - y'know, like smart people.

Either that or they're morally opposed to the idea like some religious cult and are forcing their ideals on everyone else. Either way, that was really fucked up of them. Oh well, problem solved with some semi-dubcon and logic.
