Well shit. Both our MCs seem to be going through home troubles right now.
Souta has seen evidence on the phone but he's in denial about his mom's prostitution job. Probably for the best on his part. I don't think he could handle the mental strain that revelation would bring as he is as the moment. Granted from Fumi saying he should "bear with it" I don't think she intends to keep their current situation permanent but only until he manages to "reform" himself. Granted her definition of "reform" is surely not anything good. Someone get this boy some help.
Meanwhile Haru just keeps clamming up more and more at home and her relationship with her mom keeps getting strained because Haru refuses to accept Shigeo as her new father. Granted I'm going to go against the grain here when I say I don't think Shigeo is actively malevolent, but rather he's just a bit of an insensitive jerk to Haru's feeling and nothing more than that.
Unfortunately their spot got taken away so whatever bonding time the two of them could use to escape from the world a bit has been taken away. Wonder what they'll do from here?

I wonder if there's some symbolism in her almost infantilizing him, by removing all his clothes and getting rid of "adult" materials, and by removing both any means of contacting the outside world and any small amount of money he may have.

I think she wants him to return to some mindset of him being just a boy instead of a teenager, or as her innocent and pure son indefinitely, which will corrupt him back into a state of innocence and complacence, by making him perpetually dependent upon her.


Still interested how Yuri would react knowing what has happened and how abusive his home life really is

@karasong I think that it’s a mix of the dress’ design and the fact that Souta is uncomfortable wearing it.
You can see it’s meant to be baggy when his mom is wearing it. (when she tosses the porn mag).
He also prob chose that dress in particular as his mom had worn it earlier and would probably be washing it soon.
