Seems decent but its still early to tell. I usually like theese kinds of drama but i would have liked it more if the characters were not that young (for seinen demographic at least) even though it might not fit the plot as much.

After having read the whole thing i take back what i said about the characters age. I thought it was gonna go some other way than it did. Good stuff

why are people rating this 1/10, this is why I don't trust the ratings a lot of the time. I find that visual novel ratings are way more accurate than anime and manga for the most parts.

So, is this a coming-of-age story or something along those lines? There isn’t much said explicitly in the way of exposition. From what I remember, this kid is poor, his mom is a sex worker, and this girl under the bridge is seen as a prostitute as well. That’s the basic premise, right? But, what is supposed to be happening? From what I’ve gathered in these few chapters so far is that this kid is being exposed to the more natural progression of life through this girl. He seems to be going through puberty, but the girl is there to take him down a peg, so to speak. So, is that what it’s about? Is there even a deeper meaning to this? I’m trying to read deeper than just, ‘this kid is just buying a girlfriend because that’s all he can do’.

I think there will be much more to the story.
My theory after all 5 chapters (to this date) is that FMC ("blonde" girl) is some kind of runaway possibly from rich family, because of her way of speaking and fashion wise- she is always clean and author/artist keeps eye on details like it, just look how MC cloths are always dirty after he does some work.
And she just hang under the bridge to waste time for the most part. Also rumours about "bridge prostitute" was spread by high schoolers not adults and it's important detail.

Also if you think about it those bridge prostitute rumours may be about MC mother after all. Also she (mother) haves decent normal job as shop clerk with she seems to skip to have sex with some guy for cash- so there also seems be more to her.

As for rating. Seriously, guys at least let plot progress a little before you rate it 1/10... We don't know almost nothing about story yet and art is really good. I think it may be good story with some good developments and twits, so at leats give it a try.

I'm commenting to let people know the 1/10s are totally unwarranted. Its a good manga with an interesting premise that hopefully develops further as its released.

There isn't enough material out yet to even justify a 1/10. If you're not interested in the premise don't read it instead of bombing the ratings.

@Bastek66 Dude, I love you, this story is really interesting but people prefer to watch shitty isekai with shitty characters.

@migh Please don't go throwing people off about what's about to happen based on your own assumptions of what the author plans to do. The story is basically this:
- There is no NTR
- There is no Sexual violence so far in raws(chapter 8), although the mother is indeed doing sexual services for money its all so she can afford to raise her son, whom is the only pillar in her life and only person she trusts and loves in the world as well as her reason to live and endure the humiliation of selling herself for money, which BTW she absolutely loathes as well as all of those people she's sleeping with.
- There are some dark themes regarding life of poor one parent families(MC's case) and likewise about rich, full of malice, faking appearances and what not else garbage nouveau riche families(Haru's case)
- You see a somewhat real depiction of the darkness of society regarding people's standing, rumours and how our MC and his loved ones will struggle and deal with it and the resulting growth from it.

I hope this series hasn't been dropped by the english translators, otherwise I'll have to dust off my conversational Russian books to be able to read this.

Same, but i don't believe they dropped it since looking at the uploads it seems that a chapter is released at least once a month. Just slow timing since they probably are working on other projects. It really does suck tho.
