i could see this.

were the people saying that they actually read the comments before reading the chapter, or just open the comment tab before reading the chapter? because i often will click the comments tab (to open the xenforo comment page) and then switch to that tab right after reading the chapter. with this new update though, clicking the comments just opens the chapter AND the embedded comments, so maybe some other users just have the same habit i do and need to revise it.

Well, in an ideal world, opening the comments and marking a chapter as finished would be two distinct actions. So perhaps this improvement is needed, even if it is not urgent

Been trying to open as much threads as I can. Seems that a lot of group leaders have not yet realized the current state of the forums.

We really should start putting the announcements of updates in the FRONT PAGE of the main site as a popup from now on, and it would avoid a lot of the messy stuff that is happening now.

Can someone explain to me why I've seen 2 people say they read chapter comments before the actual chapter? That's just asking to have the chapter spoiled for you.

I don't read comments before chapters, but I do like to check the chapter comments later after reading to see peoples thoughts. So it's kinda annoying to have to go inside the chapter again just to check.

I have no idea. Every time I see him in the manga discussions it's usually him saying nonsense or something off topic, nothing controversial though. But we have seen him get banned time and time again, so something must have happened that tipped the scales.
