I don't think we couldn't have same level of monitoring for liquid manufactures as we do for any other food/tobacco/alcohol/drugs manufacturers.

I agree, but the problem is the sheer number of sources both for the raw ingredients and for the 'finished' juices. Compared to cigarette manufacturers, vapes are much more of a cottage industry. And given the transitory nature of some suppliers through Amazon, etc., these days, I don't have much faith that there aren't at least some folks taking advantage to sell supplies that should have been destroyed/discarded and instead wound up being smuggled out a back door somehow.

And if we are talking moonshine - never had any problem with it, one of the best vodkas i had were all moonshine.

Like a lot of things, know your source. Had some good, honest-to-god Carolina moonshine at college a couple times, and it would knock you on your ass, but no concerns about 'purity'. But it came by way of a friend's father who knew the guy making it.

Most cheeses are okay or better.

Some cheeses are kinda gross.

A few cheeses are really gross.
