I love those cats tidbit inside my manga, but isn't tail swinging when happy just a dog thing? IIRC when cats swinging their tail it's a sign they're mad or something

With cats, it's more a happy swinging series of tail flops/gentle wagging with the more rapid wagging a sign of irritation. Doggos tend to have near-frozen tails when agitated and fast wagging as a sign of happiness/excitement.
