I don't think anyone did tbh, or mostly like 90% of the readers. It's just flat with no contours or lines to show It's indeed skin, not some kind of cloth. The author kinda needs to improve the anatomy in some ways

I had a suspicion, but as @Rezuo pointed out, the lack of contours made me think I was tripping.

Kuramori-sensei's art is very good, his designs are top-notch... but he clearly is still evolving as an artist. The roughness of his art brings out very cool moments, but it is difficult not to notice certain failings in his art.

Another example... his characters don't always mesh well with the environment and background, I am no artist, but I have developed a passable eye for such things; it can be distracting.

I accept because I kinda see it as the struggles of a developing artist, but that is me, the mileage can vary from person to person.
