What even is the plot at this point? Whether or not Denji becomes CSM again? To what end? To clear up the non-mystery about the fake/black CSM?
The plot was supposed to be whatever Asa and Yoru (the war devil) got going on.

I'm guessing Fujimoto needs a reason to turn Denji back to CSM so we can have big War vs CSM fight along with Asa - Denji relationship climax, but it's done so poorly that it feels like fujimoto's trying to reel back fans with Denji to a point that Asa & Yoru become irrelevant to the ongoing story.

Fujimoto is trying to pull a parallel narrative with Asa and Denji but so far it is not working well.

Whoever said that Barem would try to kill or burn Denji's apartment with the dogs was right.

she always somehow avoids serious bodily injury when facing these demigods. And she gets no punishment for failing at her job. She's absolutely failing upwards.
Considering the first 2 guys who would of got hit after her got obliterated, I think she actually leapt out of the way.

im really hoping Fujimoto saves it somehow, cuz for a story with Asa as the "protagonist", we haven't seen her for like half of the story so far.

It's really weird how this series feels like it is simultaneously rushing and dragging its feet. So much is happening, but at the same time, nothing that feels particularly relevant has happened yet. One-note characters are introduced and killed off with zero development, by nothing villains that appeared a couple chapters before, with nonsensical plots that achieve nothing but kill some faceless mobs. What even is the plot at this point? Whether or not Denji becomes CSM again? To what end? To clear up the non-mystery about the fake/black CSM?
How can you claim nothing relevant is happening when the literal end of the world was recently confirmed as being just round the corner, which means that now half the world is trying to turn Asa and Denji into superweapons, and the other half wants them dead? Not to mention this chapter Denji finally saw his lifelong ambition realized. Literally his dream since chapter 1.

I'd understand the slow plot criticism if this was another cafe or cinema visit chapter, but when you comment it on this kinda chapter I really gotta wonder if you need to just read slower or something.

At that point it's the plot moving the character, not the character moving the plot isn't it.

The world ending and its general consequences to the characters are not relevant to the characters' motivation. Although I guess the only one with actual motivation here is Yoru, since Asa is just a possessed damsel in distress that no one cares about and Denji have been flip-flopping about his own motive between being CSM and living a normal live up to this point (and by this point i mean 150 chapters into the story).
