What compels you to still read it? I feel like Fujimoto still have a strong idea about what he is writing, he is still keeping it up with the premise of a "Unforgiving world with devils who kill people irrationally and the lonely boy who is out to hunt them", Part 2 may be comparatively more convoluted than Part 1 due to the fact that there is no one big evil but the entire world is against his presence, but that still doesn't make it "Ass".

I mean, this is a direction the story could go, but I feel like "this" as in the whole part two is such a waste of the Chainsaw Man IP.
The first part was over the top, comical most of the time but when shit got serious it got serious, and the ending was really fucking good too.
The whole of part two feels like it was made because people wanted more money and Fujimoto just wrote whatever the fuck was in his head, it feels like a dream, it feels like a parody of Chainsaw Man, it feels like what Chainsaw Man is to people who don't know Chainsaw Man.
