Little confused here. Why is Denji blaming Nayuta's murder onto Public Security instead of the Church of CSM? It was Barem that killed her after all, and so far I don't remember any sign that pointed to PS being the puppet master behind the Church's actions. They were monitoring their moves and fought them when shit hit the fan.

I mean, this is a direction the story could go, but I feel like "this" as in the whole part two is such a waste of the Chainsaw Man IP.
The first part was over the top, comical most of the time but when shit got serious it got serious, and the endign was really fucking good too.
The whole of part two feels like it was made because people wanted more money and Fujimoto just wrote whatever the fuck was in his head, it feels like a dream, it feels like a parody of Chainsaw Man, it feels like what Chainsaw Man is to people who don't know Chainsaw Man.

Part 2 feels like it's written one chapter at a time, with the main goal not being to tell something resembling a coherent story with characters you can actually get attached to before they're unceremoniously killed, but rather to create some new outrageous and wacky thing to happen every chapter. Every chapter tries so fucking hard to have some non-sequitur random bullshit event, and ideally some wacky cliffhanger as well that'll make you go "Wowza! I can't wait to see what comes of this insane and unexpected clownshow twist!"

Exactly this. CSM 1 felt like it was carefully thought out beforehand. Yes it was random sometimes but things always made sense at the end. Part 2 however always feels random, like Fujimoto thinks on the go what happens next week. Its still good but it lost quit a bit of its charm. I'm still convinced he wanted to end it on part 1 but the editors saw how popular it was and pushed him to do more.
