She literally said the eating was basically for funsies. Man, Chainsaw Man readers really are illitierate.Man, so she can control people she eats, now there's going to be constant terrors in this world due to them, I just can't seem to get where the story goes next man...
You can always crawl inside at night when your cold like your luke skywalkerIf death were my girlfriend I'd never need a backpack, because she'd let me keep my water bottle in her abdominal cavity.
Imo part 2's greatest failure is the lack of a cast. It's a weird complaint maybe, but other than Asa and Denji, is there a single, likeable supporting or major character? Even Nayuta had barely any screen time, and was then cheaply disposed of for shock value, which seems to be the fate of every character in part 2. Where are the Aki, Power, or even Makima of this part? There's nothing to get attached to. Characters are introduced and disposed of for shocking cliffhangers constantly, the stakes are so unclear - is the world even in a position where it can be saved anymore? It seems like people are just getting killed constantly by the thousands every day, the city is in ruins, public order seems to have collapsed pretty much entirely, and there's no normalcy to contrast the weirdness anymore. It's just all weirdness all the time, with a gallery of disposable non-characters, while the plot keeps treading water, each chapter chasing the next wacky cliffhanger ending.Honestly im really not sure if part 2 will have a satisfying pay off compared to part 1 this just seems like a mess. Maybe something upcoming might change my mind tho.

Makes it really hard to care about anything that's going on. Denji doesn't even have the little agency he used to have anymore, he's about as helplessly adrift on this mess of a plot as everyone else.
