My best guess is that there was some fighting in the editing process on whether to adapt Rael's arc, which ended up being veto'd out of the manga entirely. The WN does indeed have a small arc for her journey, but that only happened after she joined the crew.So... they revived the saintess only to just erase her memory almost entirely to the point that she barely even knows who she is, and then dump her in the woods? What if she just died lost in the woods somewhere since it seems like she was close to it?
From the way it sounds in that afterwords it almost is like she's basically gone from the story or will, at best, get referenced. What was the point of even reviving her? I guess in the long run she will be good for the world as a whole but talk about a strange couple chapters.
? No idea what you're smoking, but it feels like he's dehumanizing Licht, treating him as a monster or demon, or a thing, rather than a human. The King's immediate shift into informal, Americanized T.V-speech "It was the right call to execute that guy" is super jarring. I really don't understand what the obsession is in scans with overusing "you guys" when it's tonally wrong.
Does that mean the Saint comes back?My best guess is that there was some fighting in the editing process on whether to adapt Rael's arc, which ended up being veto'd out of the manga entirely. The WN does indeed have a small arc for her journey, but that only happened after she joined the crew.
it means she never comes back aside from a potential mentioning of her existence. she is completely filler at this point.Does that mean the Saint comes back?
Unlikely, this chapter has been rewritten to cast her off as "a story for another day", so they've strayed away from the WN route.Does that mean the Saint comes back?
how is Litch supposed to do well if every country is attacking from all sides? just congregate every living human to the capital and outlast them? lmao
