Not a good idea to tell her you're not that good at it.

"That parlor trick of a spell."
She's talking about flight. Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Sniped. She was cute, but ran her mouth too much.

So she couldn't use any spell after using that spell for a week, but a sleep spell is fine?

Artists usually use a texture pack or a preset toner sheet for that. I mean, you want to hand-draw all the plaid in this ch?

ah, I didn't know that. And no, I do not want to give the artists carpal tunnel from trying to do that hell.
I had to swap from a normal pen to a fountain-pen because I'm showing warning signs of that. There's no way I want anyone else to suffer from that crap.

Disclaimer 2: I was banned from the forums previously because I didn't use spoiler text when saying, "Well, based on the raws, I guess... " My guess was wrong and yet I was still banned. So now I spoiler text everything. Unless.... if a mod decides to unspoiler my messages...

Basic Knock and Mage Hand are probably the most powerful tools in a wizard's arsenal.
The major weakness of Knock is that it's loud. It's one of the few spells that actually describes it's sound volume. Mage Hand can't be used for damage (how strictly that applies depends on the DM, as some don't allow even indirect damage) And I'd say "useful" is a better word than "powerful".

The best I've seen was one who used individual patches for different directions. That at least didn't create a whole 2D area. Though there are also those who used 3D models or photos, but that's cheating a bit.

IMO using 3D assets as part of the manga art is fine, providing that it’s done properly and consistently. Manuke FPS proved that. Issue is that some mangas that do use 3D misuse it in favor of quick turnover and thus didn’t maintain the quality of the illustrations using it or around it, making it look jank in comparison to the art around it.

“Cheating” using tech is fine. Otherwise it would be a cheat to use a drawing monitor since it’s easier to edit than on paper (also no risk of tipping over ink pots!).

Oh, absolutely. I just meant it in the context of drawing a manga. Cheating to get better results, or faster results without dropping quality, is perfectly fine. There's no rulebook that says you have to confirm to any particular procedure.

Regarding the 2D patch / pattern: It's become somewhat of manga tradition by now. Modern artists may spend more time trying to make them 3D, but when you're drawing 30-36 pages monthly with a tight deadline, this practice is usually implemented and widely accepted by the audiences.

While it is cool that she can snipe from so far away. Seeing her sitting on her throne makes me wonder how their dungeon works for the snipe to work, or did she just casually blow the dungeon apart too
