Is it me or is the title of the work this world is based on the same as writer Su Luxia's work that got plagiarized?

It's an Easter Egg! As the TL note says, in the Chinese novel spheres there is a romance novel called "Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms" that's infamous for being a plagiarism of a BL novel (just with the names changed and turned into hetero).

It's obvious why it's referenced in the plagiarism arc, and this arc is probably loosely based on the actual contents of the novel plot itself.
