I'm so upset that we didn't get the yuri ship sailing, but I guess it can't be helped since the author/artist will probably get backlash for it (seeing as China isn't exactly pro LGBTQ). I'm still upset since it kinda felt like baiting. There is seriously so many different easy to display friendship and the action Su Lu Xia did were clearly that of typical shoujo romance manga moves that FL will do to get with ML, but eh. I guess I should just be happy that the story isn't being repetive and had some changes to keep it interesting.

Why does there have to be a yuri ship? Sure, the premise of this manga is for the mc to make the bad people's lives miserable, which usually entails romance breaking and forming of some sort, however, it is also clear that there are some characters she found endearing and would hang out with. There was a chapter before where she was in that kind of a relationship with a guy, but there is something equally as beautiful and satisfying in a platonic close relationship with someone of the same or different sex.

Aww I love it, I like the sister vibes here doesn't need to make all of the relaionships romantic so this is very refreshing

@pingustrategist Hmm... I agree and disagree. If the FL was a man, we would have everybody cheering for the incredibly obvious romance. It's not that this can't be a friendship, it's that the author hit all of the familiar plot points you would see in a straight romance, but because the two characters are women, will shrug it off as friendship. I like the dynamic between the two, and I like that Luxia is willing to sacrifice to protect somebody. I'd be thrilled if the author gave them a romance. But I wasn't holding my breath. I really did enjoy this arc though.

@Chibkip It's so interesting that manga is full of queer coded characters who just...end up in straight relationships. I only trust that an author will make characters queer, give them interesting relationships and treat them with respect when I see that another queer person is willing to cosign it. If you like manga with LGBTQ+ characters, I'd recommend "The woman you are and me" and "Our dreams at dusk." They're really good.

this is probably my favourite arc so far, it was refreshing to not have a braindead female rival that tries to be smart and fails miserably or a piece of shit male lead that switches back and forth between su luxia and said female rival.
i also liked that we got more hints about the real su luxia's background, really looking forward to what that's gonna open up.

Sorry guys, the original title for this manhua is “Cheating Men Must Die”. It is disrespectful for us to change the title. Also, cheating would be more accurate for this whole manhua since cheating has multiple meanings :)

cheating is much more fitting than scumbag, as the men often times cheat on the women su luxia possess. plus; cheating men must die is and probably will be the title forever ♡︎
