Eh roms can have good pacing, specially the ones that get adapted from LN's that are short so they only be about 3 volumes without being axed/stretched.

That is the minority of rom coms, the vast majority stretch out their storyline where they’ll go as far as to have a chapter based upon a made up dream that has NOTHING to add to the story.

Basically, expect bad pacing for rom coms, so at the very least you can be pleasantly surprised when there IS good pacing or that you won’t be disappointed at the fact the the story is slow.
