Now I won't have keep watching MC getting abused for 'lucky pervert' moments that weren't even his fault and nearly dying from them in the process ... and I won't have to dread how the two of them would go 'all the way' with their size differences ...

Nearly dying from lucky pervert moments is the whole point of fetish manga. And why would you need to dread anything in ecchi fetish romcom?

Guess for Neiro to change back is for a great number of people to recongized her. Most importantly i think she does have that one person that she wanting to recongize her but is unconscious of it herself. Once that happens puff she be back normal as well.

I get why the author went this route, it's a very... efficient way to wrap things up, but it's just a little bit too silly and convenient that an accidental kiss worked for Chieri. Would it have been more anticlimactic if the confession itself simply would've made her happy enough to turn her back? I dunno, maybe, but I can't shake the feeling that emotionally even that would've worked better.

Oh well, I can't really fault a comedy manga for going out in a comedic fashion. It's been a nice run, I'll enjoy whatever's left.

It wasn't that a kiss broke a curse, is that she wanted to get together with him, her feelings and situation were all in the right place, kiss or confession would have likely got the same result.

I think that's exactly what they were foreshadowing with her conflicted feelings about being able to help people while big. Some crisis will happen, and she'll gain the ability to switch sizes at will in order to stop it. Or something like that.
