This is getting out of hand with the number of Japanese people....the plot is getting complicated with juggling the issue of warring countries, the Japanese people and also the hints about the dude meeting the second princess.

@Squildo because xenophobia? I dunno. If you want to read about non-discriminatory transmigration, try The Wandering Inn. I don't think there's a single Japanese isekai that involves anyone from outside of Japan.

@herrosenpai It was sarcasm. I understand that you've got to assume people are stupid on the internet but sometimes that's not the case :v

@pato There's at least one that I can vaguely remember. Alongside a Japanese MC, a military man from the US also got transferred into the typical 'Please save our kingdom from demons' setting. The only one I can think of

Oh, oh. Danger. Except if I am wrong, Ichijou Ichigo isn't with Hans, so it should be in the enemy camp.

@squildo @pato lol. -_-
Xenophobia has nothing to do with Japanese people in isekai. This is content from Japan by Japanese people intended for a Japanese audience. They don't write in hopes of non-Japanese people reading non-licensed digital distributions of translated scans of their work. Isekai itself is another world by definition and is a sub-genre of Japanese novels.

Harry Potter and Wizard of Oz are western "isekai" lol The closest thing you can get is Youjo Senki except it's a Japanese man reincarnated into a German girl, which is technically a tensei.

It was obvious that, at some point, influential people would want to exploit the Japs overwhelming powers for their own gain.
Twas obvious, but I really can't say I enjoy that sort of tension in this sort of a story. Their stupidly overpowered selves was initially meant to carry the story with quirks and light-heartedness . Right now, it devolved into kingdom vs kingdom political warfare.

It's really hard to start out "stupid", and then carry it over to harsher grounds. I can only think of Shield-hero and Kumo Desu Ga as somewhat successful examples, and this one definitely doesn't feel like one.

@herrosenpai Harry Potter isn't Isekai. Let me name a few actual western "Isekai" stories. Chronicles of Narnia, Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass Tower, The Dark Tower Series, Peter Pan, The Eternal Champion series can also be considered one(characters travel through worlds).
